Little MaryA Poem by Hiroshi Masters
Little Mary
Mary loves to draw in class, She wanted to have friends To have fun in her school, She's shy and introverted, One day she drew a picture A normal child would do, The wall was wet and colored Her teacher was furious, Her anger is boiling, Ready to explode and erupt She was holding and frantic Her face looks pale. Her classmates starring at her The situation grew worse, As she was her victim Mary was fearful in display. The teacher had to punish her, To give her discipline Mary was Frightened and scared As the teacher pulled her arm. Mary fell to the ground, As the teacher abused her She pleaded to stop the beating, But she felt no mercy for her, She tried to push her away The teacher choked her neck Mary wasn't catching breath She was praying to stay alive She don't want the bruises A horrible event that happened Yet into the despair of her hell Her teacher was a monster. As her classmates watched Mary was shaking and crying Her body was purple red While they look at her in awe. Mary refused for a spank, The teacher went further, As she was suffering in bruises, Her life was scarred to life. Mary sobbed all the way, All she wants is to flee, Her attempts were a failure, Mary was weary and weak. Suddenly, the school bell rings Her classmates tried to help, She lied there desperately As her teacher walked away. Her pretty face is gone All she wanted to be happy, She didn't want that pain Teach them the love inside. Mary had to survive the pain She didn't want to die, She wanted to make friends She was the victim of child abuse. © 2016 Hiroshi Masters |
