Blown awayA Poem by Hiroshi Masters
Blown Away
She was living with abuse Bruises on her body, There are marks on her wrist Her father threatened her She felt confused in her life She feel miserable every day She was raped at 16 In her dark bedroom She lost her mother at 19 Her father beat her up Trapped isolated in basement Rats cripple on the floor She eats rotten can foods Rusted bedroom with no mattress, She shed a tears and sorrowness She dream of an escape, One day things have changed Praying will make it better That god will save her tonight She heard loud thunder Like a voice of god's in sky The sky turns dark grey, Lightning sound burst out She stayed downstairs all day Hearing the winds scream, Outside her window She felt frightened all alone, Father was drunk and sober He cannot awoke from sleep Lying on the couch alone, Never know what happened She called it sweet vengence When life filled with pain Washing all the sins away In her own little home A tornado strucks her home She have closed her ears Every bricks and woods Have blown away into misted air, She cannot stand the sound It was a cold lonely night, She prayed to be saved Everything has blown away You see devil eyes in the sky As she sits there shivered, Watched her house destroyed Every little thing blown away Her father was dead , Even her own pain concealed But she forgived him Now she is set free. © 2015 Hiroshi MastersReviews
