You were my hero,
I thought of you like a friend
Everything changed,
All I can hear the family war

You broke my promise,
I was young and vulnerable
You decided to leave me
I begged you, don't leave us

You packed your bags,
Never said a word to me
My heart felt empty,
I let tears fall every night.

I'm thinking of you
How can I live without you
I see kids with their father,
They look happy and fulfilled

How could I live my life?
All of the pain never leaves,
I'm here crying for you
You're voices in my head

It went on my adult life
Left all the anger in me
All those years left a hole,
There's no father-figure

No one I looked up to
You finally came back to say,
You only ask for money
I didn't let you in my life

You have abandoned me,
Heart broke million pieces
You've never cared about me
Never said "I love you"

You broke your promise?
Every day Of my life
I forget to smile and laugh
Never learn to trust,

Left all emptiness inside
You are like a stranger
Never you like a real father
I decided to stay away

Let you know how hurts me
I have forgaved you,
I won't let you in my life,
Because I forget everything

We are never a family
never let my life slipped away
Never let my child watch my mistakes
Fallen down like you did to me,

I have broken the cycle,
Now my life set free for now.
