Like Chasing Pavement

Silent for a moment,

I never knew the predicament,

Then I asked myself

Will I fall another leaf?

 

I was so confused,

Think there is a must to refuse.

I couldn’t just stare

Knowing it’s obviously rare.

 

Never questioned you

Because I had this trust on you.

I won’t fall out easily

Though you know I’m crushed totally.

 

Like chasing pavement

Never think I could fall to torment.

The gods think it’s me

Coz they have your face laid on me.

 

I must be crazy now

Coz I’m turning all brown.

To think it’s true

Is as hard as it’s not true.

 

It ain’t heaven sent

But for me, it’s what it meant.

It’s not an idea,

But a part of whom you are.

Im some what confused as to what its about. And i have to disagree with some of the phrasing but at the same itme there is a gentle beauty in your words, and i do rather like the way you use them. Emotion almost crying from the page

not bad, a little confusing maybe just cuz some of the words rhyme perfectly and some dont....
but i can still deff feel some emotion, pain confusion desperation? idk thats the feeling i get pretty good tho

I really like this.
Not 100% sure what it's about, but it defiantly stirs emotions.
Sad.
Whimsical.
Foreign.
That's what comes to mind when I read it over.
The two coz's were a bit distracting but otherwise it's very enjoyable.
