Gemstone

Gemstone

A Poem by Life Inside Death

A glitter-covered beautiful gemstone
It's gleam so bright and pure
A treasure to whatever hunter;
Its light you must endure.
With a mind that could destroy all knowledge
The gemstone sparkles on
It stays evasive to the hunters
But remembers every one.
To touch is forbidden
It is so fragile
As is anything perfect.
The gemstone is so far away
And I, a hunter, am nowhere closer than before.

I liked this. Is this a metaphor? Because there are so many different meanings I can take from this poem. The flow was nice, and though the poem appears to be simple, it's definitely not.

This is a beautiful piece!

Deep ...I like how your writing is passionate and transmorphic ...Your words are so smooth and so clean that I just have to keep reading.

metaphorical to anything/anyone so beautiful and powerful, it hurts... or maybe a lost treasure? very nice and the emotions of frustration and longing are really evident. Kudos!
