WarA Poem by Life Inside DeathWe march through mud and rain We see the prize ahead We will not die this way That's what our fathers said...
Take me out now And run away You won't find peace here Peace is so far away...
If I ever, If I ever Ever tell you there's no whenever Run away, Run away From the ghost that's haunting me
The battle wages We fight in cages Our limbs so weak from strain I fall to pieces here I can't find peace in here My body shivers in the rain
My legs so cold The bullet's burn is soothing The hellfire feels so good now Sometimes I smile while losing...
Taste the burning embers Our flesh torn to shreds Raping ourselves for fortune Lifeless talking heads
I won't be coming home tonight My friends and I have seen the light We'll sleep tight We'll be alright And see you on the other side.
