Heading HomeA Poem by Life Inside Death
These mountains are growing taller The trees return to green The sky is getting bluer This is such a beautiful scene
I recall the scent in the air It brings me peace of mind My travels have taken me far So many left to find
But this place is growing old now It’s time to call it a day I’m going back to where I came from And there I plan to stay
Flying towards you Suspended on golden wings I take in a deep breath As an angel choir sings
Take me away from here I want to see my homeland With the Lord in Heaven smiling I touch his holy hand
“It isn’t your time now.” And he sent me back to Earth But now I’ll surely go back to Heaven If I live for what it’s worth. © 2008 Life Inside DeathReviews
