Silent Love

Silent Love

A Poem by Jen Ro

Have you ever been silently in love,
With someone you can never obtain?
But close enough to touch her porcelain skin.
Hoping to touch the warmth of her heart.
Have you ever wondered why you love?
That unknown feeling, creeping up in the night.
Never knowing how long is will last.
Have you ever fell from the sky?
Loving the person unconditionally,
But so afraid to speak what is real.
Acting a part and keeping things still.
Have you ever been hurt so badly
That you put on a mask, and went throughout the day?
Deep inside you're full of sorrows and suffering.
Outside you're full of laughter and smiles.
Have you ever had her brush away the tears?
Has she ever made your heart smile at her sight?
Have butterflies ever filled your stomach at the sound of her voice?
Face is shy and red.
Have you ever been silently in love?
