This is the first Christmas without you

The first Christmas you wont be sitting next to me laughing and opening presents

The first Christmas that there will be no presents with your name under the tree

The first Christmas

This is just the first Christmas

There are many more to come

More Christmases without those same presents

More Christmases you wont be sitting next to me in the morning laughing

There may be more Christmases

But this one

This one is the hardest

For it's the first Christmas without you
