You had pushed me down.
Now you've lifted me back up.
You've given me hope, when all was lost.
You first had to push me down.
Crush me until I was no more.
Now I understand, you were protecting me.
You've lifted me back up, and I hope I stay there.
You've given me back the hope you stole...
