Turn the PageA Poem by Bradley G. PattersonA tale of vengeanceturn the page turn the page see myself at another age another place another face memory of a time i can’t replace time slips by in the blink of an eye before you know it’s left you behind turn the page turn the page a playground and a smile how i hate and contemplate my vengeance on he who sent you to the grave i close my eyes and a see you there encrusted sienna in your golden hair turn the page turn the page again i see you smiling at me another tear wish you were here i won’t see you again i fear turn the page turn the page i’ve reached the end of you i feel the blade that i have made it will pierce the flesh of the evil not yet named i hear his cries echoing in my head before too long white turns to sienna red turn away turn away i am at peace with what i have done it is done it is done now i wait to see what next will come
