This cycle has to break..

i don't even know.

It shouldn't be this way..

It shouldn't hurt this much, but it does,

why I can't figure out..

It's happened again,

we've been in this situation a few times before,

There's no talking,

for days, months at a time,

here i am, writing a million texts, then deleting and throwing my phone,

why can't i send them?

you're always on my mind,

the last thing before i sleep, the first thing when i wake, all i dream about, all i day dream about,

I'm head over heels,

There you are..

with all your friends, 

not a care in the world, not knowing i exist,

Let's finish this for good..

This cycle has to end,

as i take this blade, as i run it deep along my wrist,

your name will be the last thing  I whisper,

your face will be the last thing i see,

this tear, the last tear i cry, 

will be what's left of my shattered heart.

I wouldn't say it's about having no idea... ;) I'd say that it was a good idea incorporating the sometimes uncomparable and nonsensible pain people feel when they feel as if they have been forgotten. While I don't believe that the end all course of the poem is the best outcome. It certainly makes for a powerful piece of poetry.
