A City Extinct

A City Extinct

A Poem by HiddenKnives
"

A short poem describing a leveled city

"
Born in a world of synthetic skies
man-made walls in a city once stood
crumbling under pressure of a crippled sun
fields of pavement,
the color green extinct
replaced by grey and shattered glass
mass of steel still strewn about
reminding forever of what it once was
an emerald city laden glass n chrome
