I face a mirror
But there's nothing to see here
Only a reflection
Striving towards perfection

I don't see me
Only the monster you make me out to be
This isn't who I really am
Why can't you understand

My doppelgänger
Bred out of hate and anger
Is nothing more than a traitor
A shadow of my failure

Haunting me forever
To Induce terror whenever
Run from me
Before I become that evil beast
