Why?A Story by Silver LiningThe ultimate question is "why?" start answering it.
I feel like "Why?" is the ultimate question. I mean when you think about it there are people who literally dedicate their entire life trying to find the why to everything. Then again the majority of people ignore the whys and live in complete ignorance saying "I don't know that is just the way it is" I know that I, myself ask "why?" all the time. Why must human beings be? Why must humans experience such a "unique" level of consciousness to which we can feel emotion and think thoughts or be able to be hurt emotionally? Why were we put on earth, the perfect planet for human survival instead of a planet where human life cannot function correctly? Why do people change to an unrecognizable point? Why is a certain group exposing America to the poison that is Donald Trump? Why is there race, creed, color, or specified sexuality? Why are there labels? Why was violence created and used in the first place? Why is world peace laughed at when being presented as an actuality? Why is there prejudice, racism, discrimination, homophobia, and hate in general? Why is there a need for war? Why do we find comfort in love? Why is good defined one way, and bad defined another? Why are there best friends, close friends, good friends, friends, and practical family? Why have humans developed such a strong attachment to technology and devices, that they put actual human beings capable of individual and unique thoughts not to mention love, on the back burner? Why do people feel the need to harm, murder, rape, or assault others? Why are some people unaware of their stupidity? Why? Just why? See I could go on forever asking "why?" chances are the people that answer will say something to the effect of "thats just the way it is" to which I will respond "why?" The thing is, if people just stop mindlessly doing things, and saying things and think about the purpose, and the effects, and everything that comes with their actions, our society, our country, our world, would be a lot better. You get to the root of the problem and you fix it. Simple as that.
