Cherish This Day

Cherish This Day

A Poem by Robert Tusitala O'Neill
"

From the same exact day in 2002 when I wrote "The Dive," this shows a more complex style.

"
Silver silhouette
Upon the sea
Your moonlit finger
Beckons to me

We stretch our bodies
Under the stars
Everything in this world
Is willingly ours

Harmonic resonance
Of celestial spheres
A gentle hum
To attentive ears

Cherish this day
On the sandy bay
And pull me close
In your loving way

It's elementary and yet I think it has a good feeling.
