Niagra

Niagra

A Poem by Robert Tusitala O'Neill
"

This was written on June 13th, 2002 as lyrics to a song. I have long since forgotten the beat it was written to, but I still have the chords. Amazing to think this was 11 years ago!

"
Even from the blackest night
You call me back again
Even from precarious height
You call me back again

Even from the deepest sleep
You drag me back again
From the raptures of the deep
You bring me back again

Because your love
Has the force as it Falls
Of a hundred thousand
Niagra Falls

Even from the highest keep
You break me back again
Even from where I make you weep
You bring me back again

You are my Niagra
Deep underwater heart to you calls
You are my Niagra
My tender aching heart lulls
