FlatA Poem by HerzeleidYou are flat, a mere fabrication of life.
There is a difference between You and I
I stare into your eyes. They're flat and cold. There is a glimmer of reality. But I know it is an illusion.
You are a creation. A mere reflection of life. A whim of a romantic. A shadow of the self, with no dimension or feeling.
You are paper. I can rip you, tear you. Destroy you for your facade of reality.
How dare you pretend! That coy look in your eye. That smile planted on your greyscale face. Makes me want to vomit.
Yet you have something. A mystery about you. A story behind those flat and ever staring eyes. I want it.
There is a difference between You and I
You are flat but I am hollow. © 2009 HerzeleidAuthor's Note
