I see in my mind a thousand verses,
In between the lines, their malicious curses.
Frozen in the depths of time unknown,
Seeking solitude from hate alone.
In this sun-burned, fabricated land,
Come along and take my hand.
Journey to a paradise passed,
One that cannot stand and last.
Taste the sweetness of honeydew.
Feel the love pulse in you veins anew.
Stand in the light and feel the day.
Let tyrants come, they will pass away.
We are immortal, children of youth.
Let them fall, they are uncouth.
We will not whither away so lightly
We will stand forever brightly.
Leave the world and fall away
Dwindle in the darkness gray.
I cannot leave this paradise
For immortality has a price.
In a invisible prison, I am kept
Many years alone, I have wept.
Time alone is no valued friend
It discomforts and cannot mend.
However I may suffer, it matters not.
I will drink to my youth while you rot.
For love and hate give me no pleasure.
Immortality is the only faith I can treasure.
