No Man's Princess

No Man's Princess

A Poem by DeMorney

I Rowena, Princess of Caldenwalder, am no Man's Princess.

Not even my father's, though he is a king.

I belong to no prince, no duke, nor pauper.

I belong not to the creator's way.

I wear a crown of broken hearts upon my proud head.

I shun away the men, who strip me with their eyes,

By grabbing the nearest maid and kissing her full.

Men don’t like this, because it shows that I’m too outward.

The silly timid man, afraid my control.

But I don’t just kiss the maids, oh no, I get those "innocent"

Duchesses too.

Who fancy a little tumble in my grand bedroom.

I pleasure my sweet dears with familiar woman’s touch.

Then they leave feeling satisfied and come back for more.

I live for the women, lovely delicate creatures.

And that sir, is the reason why I am no man’s princess.

makes me laugh...but the word 'outward' brothers me...anyone have a better word?
