This poem is especially dedicated to all the working mothers who are struggling every single day to balance her personal and professional life!!

"
Ever since I could remember my existence, I have been continuously running
Yes, I am a Runner!

As a child, I always had interest in brief and extended races in school and home playground
Yes, I am a Runner!

When my friends aimed at becoming a doctor, pilot or a writer, I always wanted to step out of the door and run for a whole world of possibilities
Yes, I am a Runner!

My passion for marathon races became so profound that I participated in every school race and it wasn't always for a win
Yes, I am a Runner!

In school, college and med-school, I worked to be faster and dreamed to be ahead of my peer-groups 
Yes, I am a Runner!

Even when I was sleeping, I could only see the running track in my dreams; sometimes I stopped before the end and many times; the dream ended before I stopped
Yes, I am a Runner!

Coming to the reality of being a working mother, doctor, managing four jobs and two  children and the social life; there was no other way out
Yes, I am a Runner!

The early morning adrenaline rush and the whole day constant anxiety of wanting to complete my task on time, both personally and professionally has always been a great challenge
Yes, I am a Runner!

It seemed to others as if I was eating like a star-nosed mole and running to finish my goal like a cheetah
Yes, I am a Runner!

Sometimes, my breath seemed to stop and my speed needed frequent push-offs, still I release my body back on track with full anticipation
Yes, I am a Runner!

I run to feel free, I run to feel alive and I run for the proper functioning of my body, mind and soul
Yes, I am a Runner!

Great poetic piece. I love this, I had love to share with my mother.

Also, I'm truly inspired by this piece, it actually describes my state of continuous yearning to run, stay on the track. I had thought I would be satisfied when I did the first marathon race on a 42km road, but yet the thirst for running is unquenchable.

I felt a great connection in my body, mind and soul when I stay on that track.

Truly inspired by the beauty of nature and its insatiable offers of splendour.
