Illusions of truth!!

What is the real truth? We should not try to discover the nature of the truth by the exercise of our imagination

From where I started to where I've come

Forced to oscillate between the real and surreal and let myself go numb!

Had been "on the go" since the last two decades in a never ending treadmill

On a roller coaster ride with both steep climbs and downhill!

If it had been only about me, I would have stayed silent

But when it comes to my innocent kids,my emotions can turn violent!

Everyone knows that a wounded deer leaps highest

When love and affection shown to you and your kids is totally biased!

Why is it that if you disagree with someone, you must hate them?

And right from their appearance to their choices, you have to strongly condemn!

And, why is it that to love someone, you agree with everything that they do and believe?

Even when you clearly know their habit of flattering to deceive!

The dire need to be understood rather than judged exists in each of us

And, my query was not something big enough to make a fuss!

Telling the truth is definitely a revolutionary act in a time of lies and deceit

And, the consequence of my actions was something more troublesome than just "mistreat"!

Reality is not what someone says in their convenience

Or, something which meets the ears and eyes of the audience!

Truth is very powerful and sooner and later, it will ultimately prevail

And, you can't get a good lawyer to fight your lies to get a bail!

Today, I choose not to be dominated as every other time

And, why should I need a fast track to prove myself from simple to sublime?

Making a very hard decision to move out with nothing but calmness in my heart, mind and body

Distance is my new response and I don't return energy!

Truth simply is what it is

And, no amount of carefully painted hypocrisy can change the story from start to finish!

Author's Note

So, this is my brief statement of the truth.
Someone, might give another version of the story and a third person still might want to give a twisted version.
So, no one should manufacture truth in order to satisfy your inclinations or hastily accept anything for the reason that it satisfies such inclinations,
Truth should not be determined by personal feelings, popular votes, scientific consensus or human biasness.
