Fields of Life

I was walking thru the fields of life
sunny day
light breeze
sounds of birds

I tripped and fell and hit the ground
sun gone
cold wind
silence

What's going on for I'm in pain
bleeding
bruised
and shaken

Looking around, what do I see
chaos
gray
alone

Warm feelings are gone and now all I feel
sadness
despair
confusion

I've lost the fields...where did they go
can't see
can't feel
can't hear

Thinking back, how did I get here
got lost?
lost faith?
was I bad?

Must see the chaos for what it is
lies
deception
pain

So to navigate thru this I need
truth
honesty
love

On the other side I will again find my fields of
peace
warmth
happiness
