Focus

Focus

A Poem by Heretic
"

A revision of Focus. This is more of a stream of consciousness instead of the original haiku

"
life comes easy to some. it’s more difficult for others, like myself. i struggle. nine to five is not for me. i need more freedom. like something from home where i make my own hours. however, my real passion, writing fiction, does not pay the bills. dean koontz and stephen king make it appear so easy. they sit down at a computer and the words pour out of them. they conquer the blank page. another best seller is produced. my brain is clouded by imperfection. it’s overwhelming. one idea after another. what scenario would this character run into. finish the chapter. the page. my drive is lacking.

About
"This rudderless world is not shaped by vague metaphysical forces. It is not God who kills the children. Not fate that butchers them or destiny that feeds them to the dogs. It's us. Only us." ~Rorscha.. more..
