The Haikus: "Waiting," "Calmness of the Storm," and "Forest"

The Haikus: "Waiting," "Calmness of the Storm," and "Forest"

A Poem by S.N. Kirton
"

These are the haikus from my poem project, "Saudade," which are titled "Waiting," "Calmness of the Storm," and "Forest." My first time writing them actually.

"
Waiting
As the humans watch
Lightning flickers silently
Leaves still hit the sill

Calmness of the Storm
Rain hitting the sand
Currents swaying on the shore
The wind remains calm

Forest
The wilderness stands
Creatures stay hidden with fear
Silence does ensue
