Flickering ember

Flickering ember

A Poem by Rosebroken

If you had to pick a moment in time to live every day what would it be?

Mine would be the peak of our love, when our passion and flame burned brightest, without a care in the world, where the world consisted of just you and I, those kisses in the rain, our bodies pressed together, embraced in the warmth of eachother. Endless nights without dreaming lying awake entwined with you. When you were my dream, my life and love.

But instead I'm left alone in this hell with memories that will fade of lies we told ourselves.
