Fool, That's Me.

Fool, That's Me.

A Poem by Alicia Nicole

And it happens once again
I loved you, more than I've ever loved anyone.
You used me

I was a distraction
I was just there so you wouldn't have to think about him all the time
I gave up everything for you
I let my walls slide down and I let myself come down
You took everything I gave you and tore it to shreds
You said you loved me
You said forever
You said I was that one thing that you needed
You left once
I left next
No matter how fast I run the memories still stay
I can't make them disapper
Your words run through my mind faster than a freight train
I walked away
And I'm not looking back
"Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me."
