Super-Women

Super-Women

A Poem by Alicia Nicole

Words enough to fix a thousand broken souls.
I wish for them to poor from my gaping mouth so I can fix it all.
Pierced hearts magically healed, hateful words come un-said.
Suddenly the sky turns back to blue and all that's fallen is no longer true.
Your fingerprints stay and the memories hold.
All the things you wanna know stop gnawing away the days.
The thoughts freeze and the eyes they search and see.
Not everything is making you die a little on the inside.
Your coming back from you freshly dug whole.
Whipping the blood stained tears from your face.
Starting new.
