Make A Wish

Make A Wish

A Poem by Alicia Nicole

"Star night, star bright. First star I see tongight. I wish I may, I wish I might, for the wish I wish tonight."

I silently watch as the blue fades away and the sky becomes inveloped in flames.

Soom my world becomes a tunnel.

It seems it will never end as I reach high about trying to grab hold.

My fingers desire to grasp the innocences.

Make A Wish

Absorbing the suns warmth like a hug from a lover

The light breeze kissing your cheeks like the lightest flap of a butterflys wings

Alone as the pirckles of freshley cut grass brushes your exposed skin

Watching as the clouds make the very forms that decieve the keenest of eyes

Smelling the bitterness of the dandelions

Make A Wish

I lie awake at night allowing the wonders to arise.

I close my eyes and watch the memories.

I can feel your soft skin. The invisible sensation of your lips.

The gentle carrsing of sleeps rocks me away in an ocean full of lies.

I will never forget the blissful symphony of your voice.

I tryed to hate, I attempted to ashyxiate.

Make A Wish

Thake the flower from the earth

Feel the grittyness as the dirt falls away

Pluck a peddle

 Loves Me

 Loves Me Not

A light breeze blows and the peddles fly. One left.

Make A Wish

I watch as you walk away.

I swear this will be the last time I let the words go unsaid

The sun glistens off the water as I stair out at the last place we where together

Our fingers will brush

Our hearts will pound

Will I ever have the courage

Will I ever speak the words

One last chance till it all falls away

Two months to the day

Seconds

Hours

Minutes

Days

They all feel the same

So many things left to do

Make A Wish.

Leaving you breathless as you stair into the eyes you've known for so long.

Make A Wish.

Move foward a little more

Make A Wish

This might just be your last change

Make A Wish

Have the courage

Do what you need

What you want

Make A Wish

Don't leave it there. Take it why you have it.

Make A Wish.

She makes her wishes on stars and dandelions in hopes one day it will work.
