She Isn't Ordinary

She Isn't Ordinary

A Poem by Alicia Nicole

Snap my heart and grab the glue

Fix me up as good as new

If it only was that easy, the broken crumbled lifeless stand.

Stand by your side, hold you tight.

Never gonna leave your side.

Never gonna let you fall.

Drops like rain fall from your eyes, they drip down into this puddle of fear you've created.

Believeing in things you never thought true.

Coming undone, losing your sanity.

Tye up my laces and stab my heart.

I'd rather feel your burning touch then nothing at all.

Holding it all inside afraid to speak don't want to blow it all away.

I like it where we are.

Lingering in the past no longer

Coming foward, taking the steps to the top.

You open your arms up wide but you're holding on lose like your grip on reality.
