Terrified She Won't Remember

Terrified She Won't Remember

A Poem by Alicia Nicole

I kiss his lips I taste your mouth

Why are you so afraid

What happens when you can't see it

What happens behind closed doors

And this is for all the nights we spent alone, waiting for the moment that we could be together.

I messed up again

I'm losing it all  One mistake

One last chance

One moment to make it right

And our mistakes are stuck on repeat

And our conversations are stuck on repeat

I could play them over all night long

Never remembering what I should and foregetting all I should remember

Feels like forever. Your still not by my side. Where are you when I need you? Hanging around drinking another one down waiting till it all fades to grey? Wishing on all those stars just to talk to you.

Wishes stay ungranted and wonders remain.

You used to be so happy. What happened?
