Ode to LipstickA Poem by HelracIn this case I mean ode in a less traditional sense. Simply an expression of great "exalted" emotion and deep love.
Neon pink smeared across smoothe flat skin. Crinkled, stained plastic wrapped around a green tube.
Pink creeping over faded gold, slowly inching across its plastic captor.
Color sticker fadded to ashy brown, tiny print worn away with age shouting the name of this indescribable color.
The tube offers little but the lingering smell if it's lifelong home. Dim memory of the vibrant face it once brightened.
Cradled in worn leather gathering dust. Silently mourning and missing home. © 2012 HelracFeatured Review

This seems to be the only way they come out which at times is really frustrating. Not sure what .. more..Writing
