ClearcutA Poem by HelracI was hiking one day only to discover the mountain I was on was being clearcut. I continued through a sea of old friends I would never see again it was a hurt that I still don't have enough words for.
Crawling though the pile of fallen giants smelling their pungent death. A reminder like none other of what we have done. I'm sinking into the reality of your words and I get back. Back to something I once had and which somewhere in this crusade was left dead, like the death that brought me back. Always there is something so serene and so ultimately peace so near we need only to stop and look and it would be seen. Instead we crawl through the sea of murdered and forgotten life, not understanding the deeply rooted pain that comes from the destruction of that which we are. © 2012 HelracReviews

This seems to be the only way they come out which at times is really frustrating. Not sure what .. more..Writing
