Unsolid ground

Unsolid ground

A Poem by Helrac

I could let myself spend forever

waiting for you.

For that one more thing,

that little bit more.

This hope is not so strong

as it is stubborn.

Deep roots, buried

under all that past and present.

They ache and groan

reaching a little further

giving a little more

grasping for a foundation.

They shudder,

a protest of this shaky earth.

When the ground become shaky. We can escape to the right or wrong places. I like the desire and the way you ended this poem. Type of poem to make me think. Goal of a writer. A excellent poem.

About
I didn't intend on writing poetry. I set down to journal one day and this was how my thoughts came out. This seems to be the only way they come out which at times is really frustrating. Not sure what .. more..
