SunburnA Poem by HelracThe surprisingly likeable sunshine is all about. Chest, legs, face and arms pressed against the cool ground. Grass marking my skin, sun warming every inch of my pale exposed flesh. A soothing heat, like that of a warm shower or crouching over heater vents in the morning. Aware but uncareing to everything, heat melting my thoughts away. The cool dark walls are welcome to the red, searing testiment of my venture in the sun. © 2012 HelracFeatured Review
