A Poem by Helrac

You don't ache like me

and hurt like me.

You don't see this,

I don't see them,

and no one sees us.

I was promised something special

but special is just different

and we don't like different.

Special aint so special

and flesh eats flesh

in outrage and defiance.

Maybe your bones

will be dust and be earth

and you will grow around me

and we will be of eachother,

as we are of earth and being.

You suck the words back in

before they even quite become.

Sucked back to lie inside of you

and lie inside of me

 with mystery and curiosity.

Lying by you

as you return to earth.

Feeling you under my feet

as I wiggle my toes in your life,

and rest my life in your death.

About
I didn't intend on writing poetry. I set down to journal one day and this was how my thoughts came out. This seems to be the only way they come out which at times is really frustrating. Not sure what .. more..
