For a pessimist Im pretty optimistic

A short poem... Enjoy :)

I feel like im meant for something. A higher purpose to give justice to
the fucked up nature that surrounds my life. that maybe its for a
reason, that maybe things will get better. Or maybe im becoming more
optimistic, trying to give myself a reason to keep going. If im so
optimistic then why does this half full glass of liquor still have that
small space that makes it look more empty then it should. or maybe its
my mind wanting it to be full. something to trick me into getting drunk
so maybe things will get better... or at least seem that way. or maybe im
sadder then i putt off...
