Prolouge

Her breath caught in her throat and she ran from yet another one of her lies.

''Aletheia!'' The soft humming voice called to her from the shadows.

 She glanced around not seeing anything. ''Hello?''

She called quietly. The voice got louder and louder. Closer and closer.

''Stop! Go away!'' The voice whispered all her lies in her ears.

She ran into another dark room where the face of all her nightmares stood

''Hello Ali.'' Her fathers cold strong voice greeted her.

''Hades.'' she spat her voice echoing in the room coldly.

 

Her father chuckled "Now now child, is that any way to greet your father?"

She growled ''What do you want you ignoramus bag of bones?'' she spoke with her voice strong. Hades chuckled and glanced at her his eyes alight with amusement.

''There is another. Bring him to me.'' He said handing her a slip of paper with a name and adress on it.

'''It isnt quite his time. You will pose as a student in the town in which he lives for exactly six months. He must be dead by January 26. Or you will face my wrath.''

 

She rolled her eyes and removed herself from her fathers presence without waiting for his approval to leave.

 

Meanwhile:

 

Hades chuckled in the darkness as his daughter stormed out.

''Oh little Aletheia. There is one thing I forgot to mention. Dont. Fall. In. Love.''

He began to laugh as his body faded into shadows and her eyes flew open.

 

Her name was Aletheia Styx and she was 15 years old.

She was the final shadow.

The last face.

She was a reaper.

And she had a list.
