The Blood Covered Blade

It`s the midnight hour..
I sit in a dark room..
I pick up the blade..
Twirl it in my hand..
I study the blade..
It has dried blood..
Dried blood of mine..
Slowly i pull up my sleeve..
The blade is cold against my skin..
A smile comes across my face..
A smile full of darkness and pain..
I drag the blade across my arm..
Blood starts to come out..
It`s warm then suddenly turns cold..
I lay my head back and close my eyes..
I wish for nothing but death..
Why not die? When nothing but misery is part of my life..
Suddenly i hear your voice..
You pick me up,hold me close..
Tears are in your eyes..
I`m in a daze,I barely understand you..
"Please don`t die,I love you.."
I hear you say with tear-filled eyes..
You start to clean my blood..
As it gets on your clothes..
You repeat my name to get me to speak..
I speak a few words..
You don`t understand..
For I am so weak..
You finally stop the bleeding..
You put me to bed...
Join me in bed is what you do..
Wrap your arms around me..
I feel your lips kiss my forehead..
My eyes finally open..
And our eyes meet like before..
Tears start to form..
Both of us cried..
You hold me close..
I finally realize I got someone..
Someone who loves me..
"I promise babe I`ll never leave.."
You say as you hold me close..
"Please don`t do it again"
You say with a tear..
"Never again..""Please dont leave.."
I say as i look in your blue eyes..
"I wouldnt dream of it.."
Finally I pick up the blade..
That has brought out my pain..
We look at it for awhile..
I give you a light kiss..
Then I finally throw away..
The blood covered blade..
