I Promise

My past isnt the best..
I have alot of issues..
Trust is the main one..
Especially when it comes to guys..
Ive been beaten countless times..
Ive suffered abuse emotionally too..
You ask about my scars..
I look at you and say..
They are nothing..
Nothing but a reminder to me..
A reminder of my past..
A past of nothing but darkness..
Darkness and pain and death..
I say "for the longet time.."
"For the longest time i wished to die.."
For i had no reason to live so why not die?..
A tear starts to form..
Rolls down my cheek..
You wipe it away..
You gently kiss me..
You wrap your arms around me..
You pull me close and hold me tight..
Then you say..
Nothing will ever hurt you anymore.. Because I love you and I always will..
Im here forever and I`ll protect you..
I promise..
