I Walk AloneA Poem by EllaA mist as cold as silver stones settles in this broken road the buildings seem to watch me pass, staring at an unknown mass. Ahead lies tales of misery souls forgotten through the seeps cracks scattered across the land I walk alone searching for a lamb His fleece as white as stars no longer shining through the dark. He is as pure as air before the pollution poisoned and teared. The steps I take, will one day fade, along with this world, oh such a devastating fate. We all must watch as the clock ticks on and one by one we fall into the ground forgotten by everyone around. But yet the hope lies within our hearts so we must walk through the night searching for the shining star.
