7/16/2019A Poem by Andre Peterson
She stood there in a different way than I had ever seen her before.
I had forgotten how much time had passed before I reached out my hand as if to offer my forgiveness one last time. Yet the night had fallen and the picture had frosted itself over. I blinked and took a step back and realized where I was. Alone. Although, it was fear that ultimately brought us here. I believe you can never really miss what you had never had discovered in the first place © 2019 Andre Peterson |
