A Poem by Andre Peterson

She stood there in a different way than I had ever seen her before.
I had forgotten how much time had passed before I reached out my hand as if to offer my forgiveness one last time.
Yet the night had fallen and the picture had frosted itself over.
I blinked and took a step back and realized where I was.
Alone.
Although, it was fear that ultimately brought us here.
I believe you can never really miss what you had never had discovered in the first place
