A Poem by Andre Peterson

If I am to die for what I believe is right. Then let me die a simple man. One who was able to think freely without his fathers teachings. For a new generation is to challenge the old. Bring way to new ideas. Not to live like they were forced to.
Tell me have you never looked a stranger in the eyes and not once seen the love that once was there? That is still there? We are all afraid man! Killing one another will not change that. If it helps you sleep at night then raise your arms and light me up old boy. Then you don't know what happens after my body hit the ground. When it does, tell my children. Tell my neighbors. Make those unaware of in the hope of a better tomorrow that you took away one more. One who can make a change. One who saw more. I am asking you to make a choice. Please, look into my eyes and tell me what you see...
