The Realm of Simple Dreams

The Realm of Simple Dreams

A Poem by Andre Peterson

Inside this realm of a gentle kind.
You'll find find that great hearts and young minds think alike.
Crystal jewels seem to scatter the sky.
As grand carriages arrive with good time.
A man steps out with a blacken cape.
Beckoning a madame so beautiful, the night now awaits.
Frosted over, the time seems just right.
A picturesque scene unfolds, promising adventure in the middle of the night.
Enchanted and mystic, they now wait alongside a river.
Both staring on at the drowsy yellow moon.
Thinking of only simple things only they can give each other.
Nothing seems to be enough.
They both seem frozen in time.
But as he see the moonlight reflected in the pools of her eyes, everything seems to be just right.
He lets out a sigh just as the dawn breaks their sight.
Its natural to feel so warm in a dark cold evening like tonight.
Words just simply can't describe the feeling of euphoric bliss.
As this story ends with one simple kiss.
Beneath the shelter of willows they finally part ways into slumber.
Never alone again.
Inside this realm, they still walk together.
