To everyone who cares. Thank you.

If I were to run.
Would you understand why I decided to go away?
If the tears seem like they would never stop.
Would you have the heart now to tell me to stay?
If you never saw me again.
How would it make you feel knowing that our time has come to an end?
If I broke your heart.
Would you ever forgive me and make peace with yourself?
If I could no longer hold you.
Would you then feel cold?
If you couldn't remember my voice.
Would you still call to hear the recording on the phone?
If you put the blame on yourself.
Would it help if I now took it all?
If I took our time for granted.
Would you remember the times that I did stand tall?

If I tried to pass the pain onto you.
Would you hate me for not knowing what else to do?
If you just couldn't understand.
Then maybe this should be dedicated to you.

If I told you that I love you.
Would you finally understand?
If I reach out for help.
Would you then take my hand?
If tomorrow goes well.
Would I finally see you proud?
And if.. It doesn't.
Would you still want me around?

I may be alone and I may stand in your way.
But if you were gone, each day I would put flowers by your name.
If I could bend the past and have hours of play.
I'd be right by your side despite the cold and the rain.
If the cause of your smile would be for me to smile back.
Then I apologize sincerly. I just never thought to ask.
If the end is drawing near and I never got to say goodbye.

Then thank you for everything. You are golden in my eyes.
