JuneA Poem by Andre PetersonAnother old one I found.
How many times have I seen you looking right back at me?
Could you hold your gaze? Just for a second bit longer? Could you change this feeling you left inside of me? Could you make me see more than you already gleam? Those flowers on the hill are just perfect. It reminds me of a time back in June. When I had to choose between looking a bit higher or falling down because of you. I look up at the stars now and I am put at the helm. Dodging the dusk. Sailing on. Here we are, just a stumble from each other. And I can't tell you how lucky I am. With that deep glowing shimmer. I start to imagine the thought of you. Perfect I say. Truly divine. I seem to be dreaming with relative ease. And I tell you of my love and how it will never cease. What's beautiful is the thought of you. Could you believe me just this once? The view is getting better up here I can see that. Just you and me dancing, stumbling from the dark. Before the night ends, your eyes will begin to glow. You'll ask me to hold you once more. It's a giving that you've always known.
