Alone and Pale

Alone and Pale

A Poem by Andre Peterson

Leaned against the rail he gazed into the water.
The wind was ferocious and the only thing he heard was silence.
Freezing to his core.
Alone and pale.
Finally, she came through vivid memories.
Staining his coat and adding to the frost.
"Another night more" He decides.
Trembling in the darkness.
Another night of gazing into the water.
Wishing it would bring him warmth once more.

Beautiful lines here.. The only thing we are after in our lives is to be loved and be content with our loved ones. Nice composition ☺
