Me And My Lamb

Me And My Lamb

A Poem by Andre Peterson

Apart from this bluish sky.

Those sheer mountains are the only thing that can be seen.

Should I seek out those purple dreams?

Where should I be seen?

I see a soldier and his girl.

Waiting to see the sunset bleed.

Past their eyes are nothing.

Nothing is between.

I'll take this as a warning.

A precaution of what is to come.

Beauty comes illuminate at it's finest.

And the love dressed brightest shall never come undone.

Hollow, I must have become.

To only see shadows under it all.

I shall reconcile all of my wonders.

Deeply I still love this feeling.

If we wake to find heaven at our feet.

Before our chances of reuniting becomes real.

Picture what I would be seeing.

As I am off remembering your wings.

This day is well worn and calm.

I am now looking forwards to the next dawn.

Those green letters are passed all around.

But none are for me.

I am satisfied without.
