Time Passes

Time Passes

A Poem by Becky

Listening to the sudden sounds
Feeling the forbidden touch
Smelling the lost scent
And knowing what has not been found
The map that leads to you is burned and wrecked
My senses gave failed me
I run in endless circles, over mountains and down violent rivers
My Heart beats its steady echo for you
How long must i wait for reality to feel true?
Your gone
And i can't face the truth
Beat for me
Sing for me
Run, Jump, Hide, just for me.
I'll be here, i'll never make a sound
My feet won't leave the ground
Burst to life, like i always knew you would
I'll be planted to the ground, my feet the roots, my arms, the branches
I'll stand here and wait, as time Passes.

I admire this poem greatly. Somehow, I also find the tree-like reference. Starting from a seed to go up. Amazing.

A excellent poem. Took me on a trip looking for something lost. Ending is very good. Sooner or later we stop and wait. Poem told a good story. A excellent poem.
