The Songs of Spring

The Songs of Spring

A Poem by Helen Crutchett

The Songs of Spring

Gentle spring arrives with promises

apple blossoms peep from buds

unfolding pink and white skirts

The garden abuzz with secrets

borne on the  feet of  bees

butterflies alighting on upturned faces

 of sunny flowers

Vivid colours prettily swaying

in tune with breezes playing an opus

of bursting beauty

Spring's calls of renewal spills

 a carpet of vibrant views

And I bow in reverence to the earth

As nature's nuances abound

Leaving me spellbound ~

Nature and all its glory... you do capture the epitome of Spring... here... I at times do like to wander into my creative box... and stop and smell the roses... so to speak... Of course... the two I read are of the same topic... in comparison...

What a pleasure to read your words - thank YOU! Seems a garden brings out the most content and happiest of emotions and, with them, comes calm yet brilliantly colourful descriptions.

' And nature's nuances around ~ Leave me spellbound ~' and your words do the same.

Not only you have been left spellbound by nature. I am also left spellbound, not only by nature but by your tender soft words which evoke the songs of spring, and indeed its heart's ease.

This is as pretty as a carpet of wildflowers alive with butterflies and bumble bees flitting and fluttering 'neath a warm summer sun as it bids farewell to vibrant spring!
Thanks for the sunshine smiles my friend!!
